Catch Can Questions??????

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the catch can for, where does it go, and what is really doing. Thanks

You route the PCV hose (minus the actual PCV valve, which you replace with a straight elbow) and/or the valve cover breather hose to the can instead of re-burning these hot, oily gases.

I put my can strapped onto the charcoal cannister with bigass hose clamps.
